For the Czech Republic it's essentially one airport: Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG), about 17 km west of the centre and one of Central Europe's busiest, with over 17 million passengers in a good year and routes to more than 150 places. Ryanair, Wizz Air and easyJet run big low-cost networks here, while Czech Airlines and partners handle the longer routes. Brno-Tuřany (BRQ) offers a handful of regional connections, and that's about it.
Prague is one of Europe's most visited cities, and it earns it: medieval streets, Gothic churches, Baroque palaces and a café culture wrapped around the UNESCO-listed Old Town, Lesser Town and the Castle. Hotels near Prague Airport in the Ruzyně district keep you close to the terminal with a straightforward bus-and-metro or taxi run into town.
