Several hotels near Zurich Airport offer a stay and park arrangement. You book one night, leave your car in the hotel car park while you travel, and take the hotel shuttle to the terminal. For trips of three days or more it often works out cheaper than official airport parking.
Do I need to book in advance?
P60 and P3 XXL are online-only and cannot be used without a prior booking. P1, P2, P3, P4 and P6 accept walk-up. Dynamic pricing means that booking earlier through parking.zurich-airport.com will typically give a lower rate than turning up on the day.
Is there EV charging?
Yes. P6 has 38 dedicated Park and Charge stations (11kW AC) that can be pre-booked. Standard AC EV charging is also available in P1, P2 and P3. For fast DC charging, GOFAST provides up to 300kW near the BP petrol station on the airport campus — this does not require a parking space booking.
How tall can my vehicle be?
P1, P2 and P3 have a 2.00m maximum height. P4 allows 2.20m. P60 and P65 are open-air with no stated height restriction, making them the right choice for tall vans, campers or vehicles with roof boxes. P3 XXL has extra-wide spaces but check the height limit at booking.
Is P65 open year-round?
No. P65 is a seasonal lot, typically open during summer only. Dates vary each year. Check parking.zurich-airport.com before travelling. If P65 is closed, P60 is the next cheapest open-air option.
