Ireland Airport Hotels

If you're looking at hotels near Ireland's airports, three names cover most journeys: Dublin Airport (DUB), Cork Airport (ORK) and Shannon Airport (SNN). Dublin is the big one, the home base of Aer Lingus and the busiest by a wide margin. It runs direct services to more than 30 North American cities, which is unusual for a European airport outside London. It also has US Customs and Border Protection pre-clearance, so passengers headed to the States clear American immigration in Ireland before they board.
Cork covers the south, Shannon handles the west and a good share of the transatlantic traffic. Add the Atlantic coast, the castles and the pubs, and Ireland pulls in millions of visitors a year.
Hotels near the airport
Most of the Irish airport hotels sit around Dublin, in the North County Dublin area near the terminal. That cluster has grown a lot as Dublin Airport itself expanded, and it's the obvious choice if you've an early flight and don't fancy the drive in at dawn. Cork and Shannon have fewer options, but enough to cover a night before departure.
