Paphos International Airport (PFO) covers the western side of Cyprus, one of the island's two main gateways alongside Larnaca. It sits about 15 kilometres south-east of Paphos city and sees plenty of tourist traffic, especially from the UK, Russia, and Northern Europe. The coastal resort strip runs from near the airport through Kato Paphos and on to Coral Bay, so a lot of beachfront hotels are only 10 to 20 minutes from the terminal.
