Larnaca International Airport (LCA) handles the bulk of Cyprus's international traffic and is the island's main hub. It sits about 4 kilometres south of Larnaca, close enough that the city centre is a 10-minute ride, with direct links across Europe, the Middle East, and further afield. Larnaca itself has the medieval Church of Saint Lazarus, the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque by the salt lake, and the palm-lined Finikoudes promenade.
